Position: Service Employee for First Student Buses
Become an essential part of First Student as a Service Employee, focused on maintaining and fueling school and commercial buses. This hands-on role ensures safe operations and upkeep of bus maintenance needs.

As a Service Employee, you will work closely with First Student’s Maintenance Department, performing light maintenance and ensuring timely bus operations. Responsibilities include fueling, checking oil, and completing necessary reports to maintain accurate records. You will also stock supplies necessary for efficient operations and ensure the operational flow for all buses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open gates, checking bus parking for efficient dispatch

• Maintain and complete fuel, variance, and calibration reports

• Notify management for fuel deliveries and ensure accurate readings

• Fill fluids such as oil, antifreeze, and brake fluid

• Perform light maintenance on bus interiors and exteriors

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Knowledge of basic bus maintenance

• Ability to learn and apply maintenance skills

Support First Student’s fleet with maintenance and fueling for safe transportation.
