Become a Parts department team member in our fast-paced warehouse environment. You will pick, ship, and receive heavy-duty truck and trailer products, and complete accurate associated paperwork to ensure cost control and customer satisfaction. You will also load/unload a company delivery truck with specified parts and deliver to customers.
Duties:- Receives product as required and forwards emergency stock for customers. Ensure freight cost is calculated and charged to customer.
- Picks parts based on customer generated pick ticket.
Places completed orders in branch bins or customer direct delivery section of warehouse.
The aisles are kept clean. - Consolidates orders going to the same location and packages for shipping.
Loads and unloads couriers and delivery trucks from other branches. - Completes accurate associated paperwork.
- Records vendor invoices in Receiver spreadsheet when stock has arrived in the warehouse, posts the invoice on the spreadsheet, and prints for Accounts Payables.
- Delivers and picks up orders as required.
- 2 years of work experience, preferably in a related role
- Experience in a fast paced work environment
- Valid class 5 driver’s license & relatively clean abstract
- Shows a learner attitude, initiative, and diligence
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds without assistance
- Basic computer experience with ability to learn in-house system
- Forklift license or ability to achieve
- Ability to be exposed to weather conditions off/on throughout the day, year-round
- Ability to climb ladders preferred
- Knowledge of Heavy-duty industry an asset
