In this critical role, you’ll manage the safe operation of freight and passenger trains. Responsibilities include train switching, conducting locomotive inspections, and complying with all safety regulations. The position offers full-time, part-time, casual, or contract employment options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate locomotives effectively in various operational contexts

• Run both freight and passenger train services

• Coordinate switching tasks with the Conductor

• Perform daily inspections for maintenance and safety

• Follow all operating rules and regulations diligently

Requirements:

• Experience as a Locomotive Engineer is essential

• Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting

• Strong communication and teamwork skills needed

• Capability to work safely with little oversight

• Valid driver's license and CROR examination passing required
