Permanent full-time position with a regular schedule and a probationary period as per company policy.

Wage: $22/ hour

Job Duties:

Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment and trucks as required
Move material onto and off moving trucks or vans
Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking
Operate winches and other loading devices to load and unload materials onto and off trucks and loading docks of warehouses and industrial establishments
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading of cargo if required
Operate industrial trucks, tractors, loaders and other equipment to transport materials to and from transportation vehicles and loading docks and to store and retrieve materials in warehouses
May perform other activities, such as opening containers and crates, filling warehouse orders, assisting in taking inventory and weighing and checking materials.

Job Requirements:

Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to complete local deliveries as needed.
Strong attention to detail when picking orders, checking product, and handling paperwork.
Good communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Willingness to follow safe work practices and use equipment properly.

Experience with forklifts or warehouse equipment is an asset, but training may be provided.
Secondary school education preferred.
