Position: Senior Accountant for Indigenous Services
Join MNP as a Senior Accountant in Indigenous Services, where your expertise will directly impact Indigenous firms and communities. Contribute your CPA skills and public accounting experience in a supportive environment.

In this senior role, you will manage diverse financial engagements, support First Nations, and guide junior team members. Your responsibilities will include conducting audits, bookkeeping, and preparing essential financial reports for clients. Engage actively in business development while building strong relationships with Indigenous clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits and tax engagements for Indigenous clients

• Manage multiple client files and conduct inventory counts

• Prepare financial reports including balance sheets and P&L statements

• Review and correct discrepancies in financial documents

• Mentor junior accountants and participate in business development

Requirements:

• CPA designation and 2 to 4 years of accounting experience

• Previous work with First Nations is a plus

• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and accounting software

• Flexibility to travel as required

• Strong understanding of financial reporting principles
