Position: Senior Accountant for Indigenous Advisory

In this role, you will provide strategic accounting support to Indigenous clients, helping them assess their systems and implement tailored development initiatives. Your efforts will include delivering financial literacy training and assisting with compliance aspects like payroll and tax filings. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess accounting systems for Indigenous communities and enterprises

• Create strategic growth and financial literacy plans

• Support external financing and system implementation efforts

• Provide hands-on training for audit preparation

• Prepare finance policies and process maps

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration or Accounting

• CPA or equivalent designation preferred

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles

• Experience with Indigenous communities is an asset
