Data Entry Clerk

Job Description

We have an opportunity in beautiful Prince George, British Columbia. Reporting to the Resource Manager, the successful candidate will be primarily accountable for invoice entry.

• Data Entry of vendor invoices, reviewing the purchases for multiple locations from multiple vendors, validating data as required
• Work with vendors to ensure data is reported accurately and timely
• Verify that transactions comply with the financial policies and procedures
• Work with Aramark Accounts Payable, to ensure that payments are entered in accordance with the company?s guidelines and processed in timely manner to avoid financial penalties
• Submit reports as required according to company and business guidelines

• Support the daily office functions such as ordering supplies and picking up mail etc.
• Performs special projects as assigned.

• Support the billing function by printing invoices/ financial spreadsheets etc. and scanning and sending billing related information as requested.
• Provides query support to operations as required
• Manage other vendor and client inquiries as necessary

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with basic accounting, 1 year business certificate preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required
• Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with others
• Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, with strong organizational skills are necessary
• Prior experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is required
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills, accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to work independently
• Analytical and problem solving skills is an asset
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
