Co-op Student in Accounting

Become a vital part of the Assurance & Accounting team as a Co-op Student at MNP's Prince George office, starting January 2027. Develop your accounting skills while contributing to meaningful client solutions.

In this role, you will work with a diverse team dedicated to delivering tailored financial insights. You will gain experience in compilations, audits, and tax preparation while managing client accounts and developing relationships. Your contributions will help clients navigate an evolving business landscape and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop technical skills in auditing, bookkeeping, and reviews

• Manage multiple client files and conduct inventory counts

• Prepare balance sheets and profit/loss statements

• Review financial discrepancies and ensure compliance

• Collaborate with client engagement teams for best practices

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in commerce or business

• Working towards CPA prerequisites or similar

• Previous accounting office experience is a plus

• Customer service experience an asset

• Familiarity with accounting software considered beneficial
