Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Sasuchan Development Corporation is the economic arm of the Takla Nation. Sasuchan is seeking a detail oriented, highly organizer Human Resources and Administrative Assistant to support our HR and Administrative functions. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with people, and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting HR initiatives.
- Assist with recruitment processes including the development of job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and performing reference checks.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Update policies and procedures as required.
- Help organize employee engagement activities and events.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Assist with the employee Health and Safety program.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
- Maintain filing systems (physical and digital).
- Support travel arrangements and expense reporting.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Provide support to the Business Development team.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources is an asset.
- An understanding of federal and provincial employment laws and regulations.
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Ability to work in face-paced environment;
- Critical thinking skills, analytical and organized;
- Experienced and competent using computer software such as Microsoft Office, specifically One Drive and SharePoint.
The salary range for this role is between $55,000.00 to $65,000.00. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant reports to the CEO.
