Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Sasuchan’s head office is located in Prince George, BC.

Sasuchan is seeking a detail oriented, highly organizer Human Resources and Administrative Assistant to support our HR and Administrative functions. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys working with people, and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting HR initiatives.

  • Assist with recruitment processes including the development of job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and performing reference checks.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Update policies and procedures as required.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
  • Assist with the employee Health and Safety program.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
  • Maintain filing systems (physical and digital).
  • Support travel arrangements and expense reporting.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Provide support to the Business Development team.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education in Human Resources is an asset.
  • An understanding of federal and provincial employment laws and regulations.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written);
  • Ability to work in face-paced environment;
  • Critical thinking skills, analytical and organized;
  • Experienced and competent using computer software such as Microsoft Office, specifically One Drive and SharePoint.

The salary range for this role is between $55,000.00 to $65,000.00. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The Human Resources Administrative Assistant reports to the CEO.
