Northern Health is seeking a skilled Outpatient Booking Clerk to manage patient scheduling in Prince George, BC. This role emphasizes clerical accuracy and excellent communication to streamline outpatient services.

You will be performing various clerical duties aimed at efficiently scheduling and booking appointments in alignment with Northern Health’s priorities. The successful candidate should excel in data entry and have a keen knowledge of medical terminology to enhance organizational effectiveness in a busy healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule out-patient appointments with precision

• Facilitate receptionist duties and manage effective communication

• Input patient data into the scheduling system accurately

• File and organize clinical documentation effectively

• Manage supply requisitions to support daily operations

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 with two years of related experience

• Keyboard proficiency at a minimum of 45 w.p.m.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently

• Familiarity with medical terminology beneficial
