Full‑time, immediate hire.

Prince George, BC. Dealership:
Northland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
CA $43.00/hr – CA $47.00/hr
Responsibilities- Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems to ensure safety and functionality using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, inspect critical components such as brakes, fuel systems, and engines, and repair or replace parts as needed.
- Mentor apprentices and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and OEM standards.
- Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors regularly to manage production/repairs, cycle times, and customer communication.
- Conduct multi‑point inspections to make appropriate recommendations for repairs, ensuring safety and reliability of vehicles before returning to customers.
- Document all work performed on the vehicle repair order by creating a story in the associated repair order, consistent with OEM standards, ensuring warranty payment is provided by the manufacturer.
- Maintain an inventory of common automotive technician tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as "store‑provided" equipment.
- Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory‑sponsored training classes as required.
- Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty and department revenue.
- Strong knowledge of various makes and models.
- Provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate, completed or in process.
- Red Seal Certification considered an asset.
- Completion of a related post‑secondary program and/or training courses.
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history.
