Overview

Superintendent, Multi-Family Residential (Squamish, BC) at Anthem Properties Group Ltd. MTN Village is a thoughtfully designed, mixed-use community just 10 minutes from downtown Squamish. This site-based role is at our MTN Village project in Squamish, BC (1940 Forestry Rd, Squamish, BC V8B 0A8).

You are a builder who leads on-site construction, communicates clearly, and aligns with community and homeowners’ interests. You thrive directing action, coordinating with professionals, and taking pride in high-quality residential projects built safely and with a team-oriented approach.

• Assume overall responsibility for all on-site construction activities
• Maintain constant communications with senior management, consultants, inspectors and all applicable officials related to the ongoing construction of the project
• Ensure all work is performed by contractors and suppliers to contract documents (drawings, specifications and contract scopes of work)
• Review project plans, specifications and report omissions or discrepancies to the Construction Manager
• Review and maintain the construction schedule and ensure contractors and suppliers meet critical dates
• Ensure all Municipal inspections, professional inspections, occupancy permits and possession dates are achieved to the satisfaction of the Construction Manager
• Ensure quality of construction, products and finishing meet Anthem standards
• Enforce and monitor the Occupational Health & Safety Act and WorkSafeBC regulations to maintain a safe jobsite
• Understand and execute the APG Construction Health and Safety Plan
• Respond to emergencies on the site in the off hours

• Minimum of 10+ years of multi-family concrete and/or wood frame construction experience in a supervisory capacity
• Proven experience leading and directing all field personnel
• Excellent and respectful verbal and written communication skills

The base salary range is $120,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. With the site located in Squamish, flexible solutions and support for residents of the Lower Mainland are available.
