Position: Senior Building Estimator with Leadership

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of accurate cost estimates, engaging with stakeholders to ensure pricing strategies align with project requirements. Your strong analytical skills will help you assess risks and opportunities while contributing to the success of various construction projects. Collaborating with Project Managers and subcontractors is key to validating construction assumptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for building projects

• Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope

• Oversee quantity take-offs for civil and building trades

• Develop pricing strategies and assess subcontractor proposals

• Prepare complete and competitive tender submissions

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in construction estimating

• Strong understanding of construction documentation and project flows

• Proficient in estimating software such as Heavy Bid

• Excellent detail orientation and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
