Scholars Edge Painting Prince George is looking to add one painter to our team for the remainder of the 2026 painting season.
This is a seasonal position running through late September, with an immediate start available.
We're looking for someone who already has some painting, construction, or labour experience and can contribute to a professional residential painting crew without requiring extensive training.
Compensation   Piecework pay structure
Earnings typically equivalent to $20–$28/hour, based on experience, quality, and efficiency
Consistent work available throughout the season
Responsibilities   Interior and exterior residential painting
Surface preparation and masking
Brush, roll, and spray work as required
Jobsite setup and cleanup
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism
Requirements   Some painting, construction, renovation, or general labour experience
Physically capable of working outdoors and on ladders
Reliable transportation to job sites
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ideal Candidate   1–5 years of painting or related experience
Takes pride in producing quality work
Reliable, coachable, and motivated
Looking for a productive outdoor job through the remainder of the season
