Coordination of Safety at Kemess Mine

As the Senior Coordinator for Safety, your focus will be on the site’s health and safety initiatives. Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, you will work to maintain compliance with safety regulations and develop effective health and safety policies. By engaging with different departments, you will promote an accountable safety culture and participate in continual improvement efforts in safety measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ongoing health and safety program improvements

• Perform hazard assessments and inspections regularly

• Engage in incident investigations and follow-up actions

• Assist in health and safety training and orientation

• Maintain documentation and safety metrics

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Health & Safety or related field

• 6+ years of experience in industrial safety

• Knowledge of British Columbia safety regulations

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Proficient in safety reporting software
