Responsibilities- Provides assistance to teachers and other professionals in the delivery of regular or alternate programs of study for students with autism.
- Functions as an advocate for students and as a collaborative member of the school-based team.
- Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
- Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate Program
- Completion of POPARD program (30 hours)
- BC Driver's License - Class 5 Full Privileged with an exemplary driving record as demonstrated by a current driver s abstract
- WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
- 6 months of experience working with people with behavioral disorders

- Complete/update your Make A Future portfolio. Include contact information for at least 2 professional references (current/former supervisors).
- Upload a copy of your most recent Cover Letter and Resume, showcasing your relevant education and experience.

- You can obtain a copy of your driver's abstract (Personal Driving Record) online.
- If you do not have a WHMIS 2015 certificate from the last 12 months, you can complete the course online.
