Overview

Education Assistant — Quesnel School District is currently seeking applications for Casual Education Assistants. Successful applicants would become members of CUPE Local 4990.

Qualifications

Education Assistants: Grade 12 graduation and a minimum of a 1-year post-secondary education program in an Education Assistant or Developmental Disabilities Certificate Program. Demonstrated experience in working successfully with children/adolescents with social/emotional difficulties would be an asset.

Compensation

The current rate of pay is $30.34/hour. The starting hourly rate of pay for this Education Assistant position is $30.34 per hour. All continuing positions receive a competitive benefits package and pension.
