Position: CNC Aboriginal Future Student Advisor Role
Become the Aboriginal Future Student Advisor at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC, and help bridge the gap to higher education for Aboriginal students. This full-time opportunity involves direct student engagement and strategic recruitment initiatives.

As a key member of the recruitment team, you will interface with Aboriginal communities, guiding students from initial inquiries to enrollment. Your efforts will focus on developing relationships that facilitate access to CNC's programs and resources. This position aims to empower students academically and fostering connections within the community is vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective recruitment plans

• Motivate prospective students through targeted outreach

• Manage communications and follow-ups with applicants

• Collaborate with staff for seamless enrollment processes

• Provide presentations and resource materials for students

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field

• Minimum of two years in student services or recruitment

• Understanding of the post-secondary education landscape

• Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to connect with Aboriginal learners
