Position: Education Assistant 2 in Schools
Become an essential support in educational settings as an Education Assistant 2, aiding students with learning and behavior. This role includes engaging directly with students during classes and unstructured times.

You will work under the direction of a teacher to assist individuals and small groups in achieving their education plans. Key responsibilities include performing health procedures, preparing instructional materials, and recording student observations. Additionally, you will promote cooperative relationships and help students develop independence in life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students during academic and behavioral activities

• Monitor student behavior during school hours

• Administer medication as assigned

• Prepare materials for instructional needs

• Accompany students during community access activities

Requirements:

• Completion of grade twelve education

• Six relevant college/university courses

• Minimum one year experience with exceptional children

• Ability to follow individualized education plans

• Must maintain confidentiality and communication
