Position: Education Assistant 2 - Student Support
Join as Education Assistant 2 to enrich students' academic experience. Assist in implementing education plans and provide support during various school functions, encouraging student independence.

In this role, you'll assist teachers with the instruction and care of students, particularly those with exceptional needs. Your duties include monitoring behaviors, performing basic health procedures, and aiding students in developing vital life skills. You will also support community access activities and help prepare materials for learning, ensuring a conducive atmosphere for education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support learning through specific drill and practice

• Observe and document student behavior

• Supervise students during activities and breaks

• Help prepare instruction-related materials

• Organize community engagement activities

Requirements:

• Completion of grade twelve education

• Six relevant college/university courses

• One year related experience with youth

• Skills in behavioral management techniques

• Capability to perform physical assistance tasks
