Provide specialized support for deaf and hard of hearing students in the Quesnel School District. This part-time role begins September 1, 2026, focusing on collaborative education.

The Quesnel School District is recruiting a part-time Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Candidates must hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and a Master's degree in deaf education. Relevant experience in resource roles is vital to influence students positively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage CBIEP meetings focusing on individual needs

• Facilitate communications between schools and homes

• Assess student functioning and support programming

• Directly instruct students, leveraging assistive technology

• Document and track student progress accurately

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate and association eligibility

• Master's degree or Diploma in relevant education

• Proven experience with audiological and educational needs

• Capacity to collaborate within educational teams

• Flexible approach to adapt to diverse learner needs
