Position: Teacher for Grade 6/7 Limited Contract
Shape young minds at Spruce land Community School of the Arts as a Teacher for Grades 6/7 on a limited duration contract. We're seeking applicants skilled in assessment and trauma-informed approaches.

This 1.0 FTE teaching position is ideal for candidates holding a valid BC Teaching Certificate. You will leverage your expertise in social and emotional learning, while integrating Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum. A strong commitment to inclusive education is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans

• Foster an experience-rich learning environment

• Collaborate with team members to enhance educational outcomes

• Assess student progress with innovative methods

• Maintain positive communication with the school community

Requirements:

• BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Experience with technology integration in teaching

• Proven ability in creating an inclusive classroom

• Willing and able to travel with a current driver’s license

• Strong references from previous educational roles
