Position: Resource & Library Teacher - Limited Duration
Join Ecole Duchess Park Secondary School as a Resource & Library Teacher for Grades 8-12 in a limited duration role. This position emphasizes trauma-informed teaching and collaborative strategies.

The successful candidate will work under School District No. 57 (Prince George) and must hold or be eligible for a valid BC Teaching Certificate. Applicants must show expertise in the redesigned curriculum and skills in integrating experiential learning. A positive learning environment and the ability to apply various teaching methodologies are vital for engaging all students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage resource and library curricula

• Implement assessment strategies for diverse learners

• Collaborate with staff to enhance educational experiences

• Foster relationships with students, staff, and the community

• Support integration of Indigenous culture in classroom activities

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certificate or documentation in process

• Proven experience with teaching and assessment strategies
