Position: Specialized Education Assistant 2 Role
Enhance the learning experience as an Education Assistant 2, focusing on students' academic and life skills. This role supports children with exceptional needs in classrooms and during activities.

As an Education Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to provide direct support to students requiring assistance in specific areas. Your duties will include ensuring health and safety, assisting in behavioral management, and compiling instructional materials. This position plays a significant role in helping students thrive in both structured and unstructured settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement learning drills and monitor unstructured time

• Facilitate independence in life skills for students

• Observe and report on student performance and behavior

• Administer medication and follow health guidelines

• Organize and supervise school activities and events

Requirements:

• Completion of grade twelve education

• Six college/university courses in relevant disciplines

• Experience with children with exceptional needs preferred

• Ability to perform specific behavior management techniques

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
