Project- Learning Teacher Position

Position: Project-Based Learning Teacher Position
Be a part of School District No. 57 in Prince George as a Full-Time Teacher focusing on Grade 8-12 Literacy and Numeracy. This role emphasizes innovative teaching methods and inclusive education.
We seek candidates for a limited duration contract who hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and have a solid background in assessment and trauma-informed practices. We welcome applications from all qualified individuals committed to promoting equity and inclusivity in their teaching approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Literacy and Numeracy instruction

• Foster project-based learning experiences for students

• Incorporate local Indigenous culture into the curriculum

• Support diverse learning needs with tailored strategies

• Manage classroom environments effectively
Requirements:

• BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate required

• Experience in integrating technology and experiential learning

• Commitment to collaborative teamwork and community connections

• Ability to implement assessment as learning strategies

• Current driver’s license and travel capability
