Position: Elementary Teacher for Multi-Age Classroom
Location: Quesnel

Shape the future at Parkland Elementary School as an Elementary General Teacher in a temporary role. Focus on multi-age classrooms across Grades 2, 3, and 4 for the upcoming school year.

Starting September 1, 2026, this position extends through June 30, 2027, with potential for changes in FTE. Applicants must hold a BC Teaching Certificate and should possess recent Primary/Intermediate teaching experience. The role emphasizes collaboration with staff and support for school-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate learning in a split-grade environment

• Collaborate on the development of school-wide initiatives

• Support the environmental programs in the school

• Use Positive Behaviour Support strategies

• Maintain classroom engagement and positivity

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certificate with good standing

• Relevant recent experience in teaching

• Willingness to work collaboratively

• Commitment to ongoing professional development

• Ability to foster positive classroom behavior
