Position: Educational Support Worker Position Available
Location: burns lake

Become an Educational Support Worker at William Konkin Elementary, providing vital assistance to enhance student learning and support teachers in a part-time capacity.
In this role, you will work 5.5 hours per day, helping students reach their full potential. Collaborating with both teachers and professionals, your focus will be on children who require additional support. Engage with a school team dedicated to promoting inclusivity and successful learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help implement classroom programs for individual or group students

• Act as a student advocate within the school team

• Facilitate learning strategies tailored to individual needs

• Collaborate with educational staff on improvement strategies

• Participate in meetings to discuss student progress
Requirements:

• Valid Dogwood Certificate (Grade 12)

• Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate program

• Full BC Class 5 driver’s license and good record

• 6 months working with children with disabilities

• Current WHMIS 2015 Certificate required
