Position: Psychologist for School District No. 57
Become a School Psychologist in School District No. 57, serving students in northern British Columbia. This role is centered on psychological evaluations and recommendation for intervention strategies.
As a full-time continuing position, you'll work across 39 schools catering to approximately 13,000 students.

Your role involves conducting assessments, consulting with educators for future policy development, and engaging in research to address educational challenges. Additionally, you will provide professional in-service training to enhance skills among educational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students facing educational and social challenges

• Collaborate with teachers and administrators on interventions

• Draft reports detailing psychological assessments

• Advise on program and policy formulation

• Conduct in-service training sessions for school professionals
Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology required

• Must be eligible for BC College of Psychologists

• Successful practicum required

• Familiarity with intervention strategies needed

• Excellent interpersonal skills essential
