Position: Education Assistant Role at HCOS
Engage with students as an Education Assistant at Heritage Christian Online School in Prince George. Provide essential support and interventions for K-12 learners in a part-time capacity.
Heritage Christian Online School is seeking two Education Assistants to work in the Prince George Community Connections class once a week. This part-time contract position may evolve based on the learners' needs. Your main responsibilities will include providing mentorship to students, collaborating with teachers on personalized learning opportunities, and building a supportive educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor students academically and socially

• Work individually or in small groups to enhance learning

• Collaborate with teaching staff on personalized education planning

• Build strong relationships with families and colleagues

• Implement IEP goals alongside the support team
Requirements:

• Background in Education or related fields

• Encouraged applicants with non-EA specific credentials

• Certification as a Certified Educational Assistant is an asset

• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills

• Proficient in digital tools like Zoom and Google Workspace
