Education Assistant

Position: Education Assistant 2 Role Available
Become an Education Assistant 2 in our Schools, providing critical support to students with unique needs. This role involves hands-on assistance during academic activities and monitoring student progress.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you'll work closely under the guidance of the Principal to implement individualized education plans. Responsibilities include health procedures, supervising activities, and recording observations, making a direct impact on the students’ education journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily health and feeding needs for students

• Support individual educational plans and independent skills development

• Observe and document student behavior throughout the day

• Organize educational materials and participate in events

• Supervise students during breaks and community activities
Requirements:

• Minimum grade twelve education completed

• Six relevant college courses relating to behavioral issues

• Experience with exceptional youth in a school or agency

• Valid British Columbia driver's license considered

• Strong ability to communicate effectively within a team
