Join a dedicated team as a Youth Care Worker, where you’ll assist students with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges in a school setting. Collaborate with educators and families to improve student outcomes and well-being.
This role involves developing individualized education plans and providing critical support to students. You will maintain liaison with teachers and conduct community visits, offering a holistic approach to student interactions. Your efforts will make a significant difference in the lives of students facing unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement specific academic and social interventions
• Maintain communication with educators and families
• Assist in organizing school events and field trips
• Conduct home visits to support student needs
• Participate in screening and review meetings
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion and relevant diploma
• Minimum two years of experience with children/youth
• One year in the public education system
• Valid BC driver's license
• Effective communication abilities
