Join School District No. 91 as a Casual Learning Support Worker in Fraser Lake. Support diverse student needs through advocacy and program assistance in an educational setting.
The role of Casual Learning Support Worker involves collaboration with students and staff in Fraser Lake to tailor educational experiences. Your responsibilities will focus on assisting in the delivery of programs and advocating for students’ needs within school teams. This casual position allows flexibility while making an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with education staff to assist students
• Help in delivering alternative education programs
• Serve as an advocate during school-based activities
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion (Dogwood Certificate)
• Education Assistant Certificate required
• Minimum 6 months working with children/youth with disabilities
• Must hold a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and knowledge of safety practices
