Industrial Mechanic Instructor (Vanderhoof)   Faculty Appointment Types:  Full Time - Limited Term, Sessional, Non-NRSL

Job Summary:

The College of New Caledonia seeks a sessional instructor to teach in the Industrial Mechanic Program.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety practices and foster a safety‑first culture with students and the CNC community.
Promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate professionally, demonstrating mutual respect with students and colleagues.
Act as part of a team actively engaged in contributing to the vision, mission, and goals of the College and supporting the needs of learners and the community.

Qualifications:

Interprovincial Trades Qualification in the Industrial Mechanic trade.
Five years of experience as a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic across multiple industrial settings.
Preference for candidates with recent proven teaching and/or supervisory experience.
Effective at dealing with students individually or in group settings.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams).
Completion of the Provincial Instructor’s Diploma Program (PIDP) is considered an asset.
Salary:  $73,879 - $87,659, commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
