Salary: $64,341.00 - $ + ($3,500.00 provincial recruitment and retention allowance)

Assignment: 1.0 Continuing Position – Junior English;
Junior/Senior Drama

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education
  • A valid BC teaching certificate and current membership with The Ministry of Education and Childcare
  • A degree or major in French is preferred
  • Fluent in French
  • Ability to assist students as needed in a variety of curriculum areas at the junior grade levels
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a positive classroom learning environment that engages students in active learning experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to use inclusive instruction to meet the learning needs of diverse learners
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working from an inclusion perspective to address diverse learning needs
  • Understanding and use of a trauma-informed approach in professional practice
  • Experience and knowledge using competency-based assessment strategies
  • Experience in differentiating instruction to create success in learning for each student
  • Experience in integrating appropriate technologies into instructional practices to improve learning outcomes for students
