This 1.0 continuing position, starting September 1, 2026, requires candidates to have a Bachelor of Education, a valid BC teaching certificate, and a Master’s Degree in Library Science or equivalent training. Two years of teaching experience is preferred to enhance educational outcomes through collaborative learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on inquiry-based unit planning

• Instruct students in information literacy

• Integrate modern media and technologies into curricula

• Strengthen literacy initiatives alongside teachers

• Curate and manage quality resource collections

Requirements:

• Valid BC teaching certificate and education degree

• Enrolled in or completed a Library Science program

• At least two years of relevant teaching experience
