Position: Youth Care Worker for Special Needs

Working closely with teachers, you will assist in the development and execution of individual education plans, while also maintaining relationships with families. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop individualized education strategies with teachers

• Perform home and community visits for student engagement

• Guide families with necessary resources and support

• Plan and oversee field trips and special activities

• Liaise regularly with parents and community partners

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 with further qualifications in youth care

• At least two years’ relevant experience in education

• Current British Columbia driver’s license

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral

• Experience managing challenging behaviors compassionately
