Position: Sinkut View Elementary 5/6 Teacher Role
Location: Vanderhoof

Sinkut View Elementary School in Vanderhoof, BC, is seeking a Grade 5/6 Teacher for a continuing assignment starting September 1, 2026.

This role offers a salary of $64,341 to $121,722, plus a provincial retention allowance.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor of Education and a current BC teaching certificate. Your responsibilities will include developing positive learning environments, employing inclusive instructional techniques, and utilizing technology to enhance education. You will support a diverse student population through differentiated instruction and foster collaboration with parents and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging classroom experiences

• Implement inclusion strategies for diverse learners

• Assess student progress with competency-based methods

• Collaborate on Individual Education Plans

• Integrate Indigenous culture in teaching practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education (Elementary) necessary

• Experience with diverse student needs

• Ability to leverage technology for learning
