Position: Part-Time K-7 Resource Teacher Role
Quinson Elementary School is looking for a Grade K-7 Resource Teacher in Prince George for a 0.5 FTE limited duration contract. Bring your talents in assessment and inclusive practices to inspire young learners.

Become a vital member of School District No. 57 as you guide K-7 students through a tailored educational experience. Candidates must be well-versed in trauma-informed teaching and local Indigenous culture integration. This role requires strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement resource-focused lesson plans

• Use assessment for learning to inform instruction

• Incorporate experiential learning opportunities

• Support students' social and emotional development

• Build relationships with families and the community

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Evidence of effective teaching methodologies

• Experience with inclusive education strategies

• Strong organizational skills and classroom management

• Current driver’s license for potential travel
