We are looking for a motivated educator with a valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate. Applicants should demonstrate experience in trauma-informed practices and integrating Indigenous culture into curriculum development.
Your role will include fostering an inclusive learning environment and utilizing effective assessment strategies to enhance student learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support curriculum integration of Indigenous principles
• Implement inclusive teaching strategies
• Enhance social and emotional learning in the classroom
• Manage classroom organization effectively
• Build connections with the local community
Requirements:
• Current BC Teaching Certificate or proof of application
• Experience with the Ministry's redesigned curriculum
• Ability to support diverse learning needs
• Knowledge of local Indigenous traditions
• Valid driver’s license with travel willingness
Empower Indigenous student voices and contribute to a nurturing academic setting.
