Position: Contract Teacher for Grade 7 Students
Beaverly Elementary School is hiring a Contract Teacher for Grade 7 in Prince George. Ideal applicants will have experience with assessment and strong trauma-informed practices.

This 1.0 FTE limited contract position focuses on creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. Candidates should excel at integrating local Indigenous culture and fostering social and emotional skills among students. A collaborative approach and effective management of classroom dynamics are essential for this teaching role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement diversified curriculum strategies for engaging lessons

• Foster assessment for and as learning to track student progress

• Encourage collaboration and peer learning in the classroom

• Integrate technology effectively into educational practices

• Build strong relationships with students and parents

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate or proof of application status

• Knowledge of the redesigned curriculum and core competencies

• Strong ability in classroom management and organization

• Experience working collaboratively in educational teams

• Current driver’s license and capability for required travel
