This limited duration position begins on September 1, 2026, and runs until June 30, 2027. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Education, extensive training in Special Education, and experience implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs). You will be committed to supporting all students, ensuring high levels of learning, and integrating Indigenous culture into your lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) effectively

• Utilize trauma-informed approaches to engage diverse learners

• Manage cases for intensive behavior students successfully

• Collaborate with families and the community to enhance learning

• Integrate technology to improve student outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and valid BC teaching certificate

• Training in functional behavior assessment and intervention

• Knowledge of competency-based assessment strategies

• Commitment to ongoing professional learning

• Experience in Response to Intervention model
