Position: Junior Indigenous Grad Coach Role
Join Shas Ti Kelly Road Secondary as a Junior Indigenous Grad Coach, focusing on student success through innovative, culturally responsive teaching. This full-time limited duration contract offers a unique platform to nurture inclusivity and education in Prince George.

As a Junior Indigenous Grad Coach at School District No. 57, you will engage students through assessment strategies and trauma-informed practices. This role seeks individuals who can incorporate local Indigenous culture into the curriculum. You'll work collaboratively within a team to create a positive learning environment that supports diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement culturally relevant teaching strategies

• Develop assessment as and for learning techniques

• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere

• Integrate experiential learning opportunities

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational practices

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Proven teaching experience in diverse settings

• Strong knowledge of Indigenous educational principles

• Ability to manage classroom effectively

• Current driver's license and willingness to travel
