Position: Contract Teacher for Photo and Foods
Join the teaching staff at College Heights Secondary in Prince George as a Contract Teacher for Photo and Foods classes. Ideal for educators experienced in trauma-informed practices.

As a Limited Duration Contract Teacher, you will facilitate engaging Photo 11/12 and Foods 10-12 instruction. The successful applicant must possess a valid BC Teaching Certificate and demonstrate the ability to integrate local Indigenous culture and experiential learning into lessons. You will foster an inclusive classroom setting and contribute to the development of students’ social and emotional learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Photo and Foods curriculum to high school students

• Implement inclusive teaching and assessment strategies

• Cultivate a supportive and positive classroom atmosphere

• Integrate technology and Indigenous knowledge in lessons

Requirements:

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate
