On Call Teacher

Position: On Call Teacher Positions Available
Explore teaching flexibility as a BC Certified Teacher on Call within our District.

This role offers daily assignments across different schools in the Prince George area.

We are looking for certified educators who are willing to take on limited duration contracts. Positions can span multiple subjects and locations, providing opportunities to work less than five days a week. Candidates with experience in assessment and a focus on inclusion will stand out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons in a variety of subjects on a casual basis

• Incorporate Indigenous perspectives into teaching materials

• Evaluate student progress through effective assessments

• Create inclusive and supportive classroom environments

• Build positive relationships with students and staff

Requirements:

• BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate or proof of application

• Understanding of the Ministry's updated curriculum

• Proven teaching experience with diverse learning strategies

• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities

• Reliable vehicle for travel within a 65 km radius
