HCOS Education Assistant

Position: HCOS Education Assistant - Flexible Role
Support holistic student development as an Education Assistant with Heritage Christian Online School. This role involves on-site support for K-12 learners in Prince George.

Heritage Christian Online School is hiring two Education Assistants for part-time work in Prince George, specifically one day a week. This position allows for flexible hours that may increase throughout the school year, depending on student needs and Assistant skills. You will enhance students' learning experiences through mentorship, interactive engagement, and teamwork with educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate academic, spiritual, and social growth for students

• Conduct individual or small group sessions for learning support

• Partner with teachers to deliver tailored educational experiences

• Foster relationships with educators, families, and students

• Aid in fulfilling IEP goals with support teams

Requirements:

• Experience in educational support or working with youth

• Consideration for professionals with diverse educational backgrounds

• Certification as a Certified Educational Assistant is beneficial

• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence

• Technological proficiency with Office applications and Zoom
