Parkland Elementary is seeking a dedicated educator to inspire students in grades 2, 3, and 4, starting September 1, 2026. A valid BC Teaching Certificate is essential along with experience in Primary/Intermediate education. Successful candidates will contribute collaboratively to the School Growth Plan and engage in environmental initiatives that enhance classroom dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach multi-grade classes, adapting to grade splits

• Collaborate with staff to develop educational strategies

• Implement the Positive Behaviour Support program

• Participate in environmental initiatives

• Engage in ongoing professional development

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teaching Certificate

• Experience teaching at the Primary/Intermediate level

• Willingness to work in a team environment

• Strong commitment to student development

• Ability to deliver effective classroom management
