Work as a Casual Learning Support Worker in Fraser Lake with School District No. 91, focusing on student support through individualized programs and team collaboration.
This role is casual with flexible hours, dedicated to meeting the unique needs of students. You will work closely with district staff, advocating for students and assisting in the implementation of education programs. Required qualifications include an Education Assistant certificate and suitable experience in working with youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with educators to support student needs
• Assist in the implementation of various educational programs
• Advocate for students within educational frameworks
• Engage with school teams to ensure inclusive practices
• Tailor support strategies based on student requirements
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education (Dogwood Certificate)
• Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate program
• 6 months experience with youth facing challenges
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License required
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and adherence to safety guidelines
