Education Assistant on Call in Mackenzie

This role reports to the Principal and involves on-call work in various school settings. As an Education Assistant, you will help students with specific activities, support their independence, and assist during unstructured times like recess. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students during structured and unstructured times

• Support individual learning and behavioral goals

• Prepare instructional materials and assist with activities

• Observe and document student progress and behavior

• Administer medication and report safety concerns

Requirements:

• Grade twelve education

• Six college/university courses in related fields

• One year experience with exceptional youth or children

• Ability to perform individualized behavior management techniques

• Valid British Columbia driver’s license may be required
