Support and inspire students as a Casual Learning Support Worker in the Fraser Lake area. This casual position empowers you to provide tailored educational assistance.
In this dynamic role, you will work with district staff to address the specific needs of students, aiding in both regular and alternative educational programs. Your advocacy for students and participation in school teams will be crucial. This position is suited for compassionate individuals with experience in special education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address individual student needs with school staff support
• Assist in various educational program implementations
• Act as an advocate in school-based teams
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Certification as an Education Assistant required
• 6 months experience with special needs children/youth
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with clean record
• WHMIS 2015 Certification and safety procedure knowledge
