Position: Indigenous-Focused Early Childhood Educator Role

Shape the future of Indigenous children at Carrier Sekani Family Services as a casual Early Childhood Educator in Burns Lake, BC. This role is pivotal in ensuring children's safety while enhancing their learning through creative activities.

In this position, you will be responsible for creating stimulating environments promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth in children. You'll collaborate with Elders and community resources to incorporate cultural education and comply with child care regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure children's supervision and well-being at all times

• Develop age-appropriate, stimulating activities

• Comply with child care licensing requirements

• Partner with community Elders for education delivery

• Facilitate collaboration among early childhood educators

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or relevant courses

• At least two years of experience in child care

• Familiarity with special needs and child development
